With LA Flood Cert, LLC getting your elevation certificate is easy and can usually be completed within a few days.

Simply submit your request by calling our office or sending us an email. We will then schedule a time to come to your home.

Step 1 Submit Your Request

Before our team leaves the office, we will research Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM) and determine the Base Flood Elevation (BFE), set by FEMA, for your home.

Step 2 Research

We will arrive at your home with state-of-the-art survey equipment and gather GPS data and other pertinent information to help our engineer determine the exact elevation of your home.

Step 3 Field Work

Our field data and measurements will be brought back to our office and verified. For new construction, the information will then be compared to the BFE to determine the required elevation of your new home. Our engineer will then complete, sign, and seal your elevation certificate and we will e-mail you an electronic copy. Please let us know when you order if you would like us to send a copy to your insurance agent, builder, lender, or closing attorney.
